Source & headset access

The complete retained USGS 3DEP elevation grid loads before this view. Its bare-earth DEM supplies both elevation (DEM) and terrain (DTM) roles from one verified dataset.

Native grid: 1 arc-second, about 30 m. Interactive mesh: 8 arc-second samples. display vertices match the downloadable OpenUSD scene.

The package includes a two-meter tabletop scene, a full-scale scene, and the NVIDIA OVXR runner. Native XR requires Windows/Linux, NVIDIA RTX graphics, and a compatible OpenXR headset runtime. Headset rendering is unverified.

Route 33 uses Caltrans road geometry draped on the ground model, with a 250 m study buffer. Source gaps remain visible. Coverage stops at the loaded DEM boundary; this is not a cleared or validated driving route.

Elevations remain NAVD88 orthometric meters, with no vertical exaggeration. The existing WGS84-to-NAD83 query approximation and regional display projection remain documented in the source record.
